Throughout the Old Testament scriptures, we are given types and shadows that point to the realities of the New Testament. In this lecture we will focus on the types and shadows of the washing and cleansing as they point to the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. In Isaiah 1:16. Yahweh says, “Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil…”
