Your podcasts get better and better. I always think of Handel’s Messiah in connection with verses from Isaiah. “Rise, shine, for thy light is come'”. And there are others. Do you like Handel? I hope the Messiah oratorio has left impressions on your life. You’re a sounder man if it has. Thank you for continuing to study Isaiah! I am beginning to download the beginning lectures of Isaiah and then will have them put on compact disks. Should I include Christ in the Old Testament episodes in my downloads where they occur in common with the Isaiah numbered lectures?

Isaiah is the most important book in the Old Testament for understanding the New Testament. Handel’s Messiah is amazing. I even mention it in my new book from CPH: Reading Isaiah with Luther. It will be released in September 2018.
