Christ in the Old Testament- Isaiah 12

Christ in the OT 2Pastor Kachelmeier is the guest on Issues, Etc. talking about Isaiah 12.

In this chapter, we learn to make a distinction between propitiatory sacrifice on one hand and eucharistic sacrifice on the other hand. Christ is the propitiation for our sins. His sacrifice on the cross turns the anger of God away from us. His atoning death is the one and only propitatory sacrifce that gains for us favor with God. In response, the redeemed praise and thank God for what He has done. These are called sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving, that is, eucharistic sacrifices.
